Time to go Bowling!

Fresno St. vs. Northern Illinois is the
most appealing game of the day.
This Saturday marks the beginning of bowl season! Tomorrow has three games between non BCS opponents.  And in reality, they are gonna be some snoozers. I'll give my predictions on each bowl throughout December and early January.

New Mexico Bowl: BYU vs. UTEP

BYU: I'm going with BYU on this one. Why? BYU ended the season winning four of five, losing only a close game to rival No. 20 Utah.  UTEP stumbled down the stretch losing five of their last six.  Simple, BYU is playing better football in a better conference.

Humanitarian Bowl: Northern Illinois vs. Fresno St.

Fresno St: By far the best game of the day. I've always liked Fresno St as a football program. I think Pat Hill has done a tremendous job in Fresno. They have made a name for themselves knocking off teams from BCS conferences, which makes me a bit wary of this pick. Check out Chad Spann of Northern Illinois at running back. He has had a huge senior season, registering 20 rushing touchdowns.

New Orleans Bowl: Ohio vs. Troy

Troy: Troy has been a perennial Sun Belt power for a couple years now. I don't think Ohio can match the athleticism of Troy. I'm going with Troy in a route.
