Week 4 of Bowling!

Record: 17-17

With some easier games on New Year's day, I started to make a surge to .500. Still been rough picking!
Oklahoma dominated as expected, and the Rose Bowl provided one of the best games in recent memory. Great way for TCU quarterback Andy Dalton to go out.
Marecic scored an offensive and defensive
touchdown within a minute at Notre Dame

Monday Jan 3.

Orange Bowl: Stanford vs. Virginia Tech

Stanford:  I'm going with the Cardinal in this one, but it should be a close affair. The Cardinal are going to struggle on defense in containing duel threat quarterback Tyrod Taylor. They will need to make sure they do a good job containing Taylor, and make him into a passer instead of a runner. On offense the Cardinal will try to establish the run early in order to open up the play action for Andrew Luck and the potent Stanford offense. This game should go down to the wire, and really could be decided by a lucky bounce either way.

Sugar Bowl: Arkansas vs. Ohio St.

Arkansas: There have been plenty of distractions for the Buckeyes this week, and that should be to the Razorbacks advantage. All week the the headlines have been covering the five suspended players for Ohio St, as the players will serve there suspension for the first five gmaes of the 2011 season. This is a huge game for Ryan Mallet, who can prove that he should be the number two quarterback selected in the draft behind Stanford star Andrew Luck. There are millions of potential dollars up in the air in this game. We all know the SEC has dominated the SEC in years past, and I believe nothing will change in this game.
